BNA Concrete Expansion Joint sealant (BNA CEJS) is composed of a mixture of materials, including Oxidized Bitumen that will form a resilient and adhesive compound capable of affectively sealing joints in concrete against the infiltration of moisture and foreign material throughout repeated cycles of expansion and contraction with temperature changes.

RECOMMENDED APPLICATION RATE

BNA Concrete Expansion Joint sealant (BNA CEJS) is recommended for use in sealing concrete expansion joints in pavements, canal linings, bridges and other civil engineering structures.

Rate: 1 Kg for 1″x 2″ groove of 4 linear feet

APPLICATION

Heat the product to approximately 100oC, (at which temperature the product reaches to a uniform pouring consistency suitable for completely filling the joints without inclusion of air holes or discontinuities) and pour on the joint to be filled using a suitable applicator such as a watering can. Prior to filling the joints, cleaning of the area to be filling is very important.
